I would like to remove or delete all attachments from a selected group of messages, but I can't seem to find a way to do this easily. I am using OTFE with required attachments to be stored in message bodies.

In the past I would just go into the attachemnts folder and delete what I wanted. This had the added benefit that the messages still had the file name of the attachment listed for my reference.

Maybe it would be possible to have OTFE have an option to keep attachments in their own external encrypted folder?

Suggestions? Help?

The main advantage of a separate attachment folder is the possibility to open them without TB. When everything is uncrypted you can't go around TB, so an attachment folder makes no sense for OTFE.

I can't think of an easy way to delete attachments from multiple accounts.

It would be nice to have the option in OTFE to have a seperate OTFE encrypted attachment folder. One the could be opened with a key without opening the bat.

You can always add that wish to the wish list.

You can insert wishes in the wish list, by logging in to:
https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/main_page.php
Choose 'The Bat! wishes' and add a new item.
First check whether someone has made the same wish, then you can
support that wish.
Wishes that are supported by more users are more likely to be granted
than wishes by one. And the system isn't smart enough to understand
that wishes might be the same.
And add just one wish per entry. Makes everything easier, both for
other users who want to add support and for the developers.
