Viewing HTML Files and Browsers

I am having a great experience with TheBat! so far, and only have one snag at this point.

When I get a email that has a HTML file in the sidebar (so you can view the whole message HTML included) I click it to open it. It launches IE, Opera, and AvantBrowser, this works fine. In Maxthon browser, it opens the message BUT, TheBat! comes up with the following error "The System cannot find the file specified". Now if Maxthon is alredy open, it works fine, it is a problem if it opens the browser.

The only thing that I noticed different was that in the address bar (of the browsers that work) it looks like the following:

C:/Documents and Settings/User/Local Settings/Temp/bat/3629ADA7.html

and in Maxthon it looks like the following:

file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/User/Local%20Settings/Temp/bat/3629ADA7.html

Anyone help?

Thanks!

Found a fix!

Make sure Maxthon is the "Default Browser", then do the following (on Windows XP)

Open "My Computer"
Go to Tools -> Folder Options -> File Types
Go to HTML
Choose "Advanced"
Edit "Open in Same Window" option
Clear the checkbox "Use DDE"
Choose "OK" 3 times and finished!

It seems that Maxthon does not register the above option correctly (It still showed IE in there)? When clearing the box, it seems to "reset" it to use Maxthon and no more errors!

Enjoy!  :D
