"Corrupt" Message Preview, Character set issue?

I read my email in the preview pane.  When I receive an email from certain people, the display sort of corrupts.  It leaves artifacts from the last email in there and then after viewing that certain person's email, artifacts from that email remain in the message window.

His message headers indicate this:

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=windows-1250
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

... where messages that I do not have an issue with indicate this:

Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

When I reply to anyone else the character set is Western European (ISO) and when I reply to the "trouble" email there is no character set specified.

This seems to me like a half bug, half feature issue but whatever it is I'd really like to fix it.  Any assistance will be appreciated.

Addendum:  This only happens when using "plain text viewer", my preferred viewing method.

This might be a driver issue with your vga card. You could try to see whether there are newer/better drivers on the manufacturer's site.

I am familiar with the issue you refer to however it does not apply here.  It's not a video artifact, it's in the display window of The Bat! only.  If I minimize the window it's gone but if I restore the window the text display is still garbled.

I've never noticed TB doing that over here and I read everything in the preview pane. That's why I suggested it might be a graphics driver issue, otherwise I wouldn't know.
