problems sending mail

Hi all

I have troubles sending mail. When i send mail from one of my three accounts (one smtp-server though) to someone else (multiple domains tested) the mail does not arrive in 75% percent of the cases. BUT when i reply to an email it does arrive! This all is especially the case when i send to hotmail accounts.
Does anyone have a clue what's going on?

The mails are sentm as they are in my sent-folder. The above symptoms occur with my imap and pop accounts.

All help much appreciated!

I doubt it's a problem with The Bat. Are you sure your emails aren't being filtered into your recipients spam folder? Maybe their ISP's are filtering?

I'm afraid it somehow has to do with The Bat, since i don't have these problems with T-bird or Pegasus...
And the mails aren't ending up in the bulk-mail/spam-folders of the recipients..

Other ideas? Can it be something with my settings within The Bat?

Some (bad) spam filters trigger on The Bat!, however the give a message bonus points when it includes an 'In-Reply-To' or 'References' header. That could be a reason for what you see.
(Ity's also the reason that some spammers create messaages with those headers, so both you and the spam filter think it's a reply.)
