Remove Shortcut [Ctrl]+[Enter]?

Is there a way to REMOVE the shortcut [Ctrl]+[Enter] for sending emails out of the editor directly?

From another application, we are used to use this shortcut for other things (Hard-Linebreak) and so it often happens, that we accidently send an email, which is only "in editable state".

I know, I can assign ADDITIONAL shortcuts, but can I also DELETE the existing ones?

thanx

yes, you can (again) - as in 3.8x we have back complete control over shortcuts: just open the correspondong window and right-click into the (window) header pane, choose "customise", change to "Shortcuts" and do whatever you want :)

for the given example: open new message window, ... (s. above), the corresponding entry is in TMsgEditor/Main Menu/Message/Send now - just double-click and do as you wish :)

Yes, you can delete existing shortcuts.

I'm presuming that you're using the latest version as the customisation has been altered lately:
Start TB's editor.
View -> Toolbars -> Customise
Select the 'Shortcuts' tab
Now you'll see the menu structure for the editor displayed, go to:
Main Menu / Message / Send Now
You'll see that Ctrl+Enter is assigned here.
Double click 'Send Now'
The shortcut editor will open
Select the offending shortcut and press Remove.
Press 'Close' and 'OK' as often as you need to save and exit.

PS: the corresponding changes go into the file tbuser.def in the main TB directory - for a broader installation you could distribute that file (though personal customisation would be lost then) or maybe "diff/patch" the section "update property layout [MEdit_MainMenu]"

Thanks a lot for your help!

I will try this later - but I'm sure, that this will soplve my problems!
