Filters problems in TB 3.80.06, Are them still working?

Since the last two the bat updates I have noticed troubles with filters: they are not always working and once created you cannot edit them because the text you have entered is not showed anymore.

I have made a completely new installation on a fresh pc, and again the same problem: you create the filter, you add your rules but they are not working.
If you go back to check you cannot read anything into the filter text fild.

Is the bat still a good mail client?

Thanks

I can't reproduce your problem and I've got filters that heaven't been changed since v1 (I'll admit that theyhave been converted of course, but that was during the first betas with the new filtering system)

Can you give an example of a filter that doesn't work anymore and a message that should have been processed by it? (And hasn't been processed by a filter that was checked first)

You can export a filter by selecting it, press Ctrl-C and then set your cursor where you want to paste it and press Ctrl-V.

thanks for the reply

if you try to create a new filter, you type a name for the filter, you select conditions, one can be enought to see the problem: the last field is where you type the text to be found. When you create the filter you can read the text, while when you re-open the filter, the text field seems to be empty.
By doing the CTRL+C on the filter list I can see that data is saved, but I cannot see it anymore in the edit fields.

Due to this trouble, I cannot verify my filters or change them in an easy way.

I have reinstalled in a new pc, with a new win XP, and a new the bat, with new mail accounts.
I am using italian language, but it is the same problem if I select english.

thanks

I have just found that if i select English language and I completely restart the bat, I can see filters text again.

So I think there is a problem with italian translation.

I have tested english, french and spanish: the bat filters are always ok with them while faulty with italian.

Can you provide a fix?

thanks
