How to retrieve messages from a tmp file?

Hello,

Because of an unknown reason, during normal operation, TheBat found a corruption in one of my most important email folders.

Consequently, it created a tmp file from the TBB file called bat6A.tmp, apparently dumped all the corrupted content into it. I do have a backup, but it is a week old.

How can I retrieve the last weeks message from the tmp file?

bigg one Guru Posts: 612 Points: 550 Rating: 14 Authority: 14 Joined: 02 February 2005	#2 0 19 June 2006 06:09:45 try (with TB closed) to create a new folder under the account folder, then rename the .tmp file to MESSAGES.TBB and put it there - TB may read it, if not try to repair this folder only (Folder->Maintanence) Or try to export messages from it with the /EXPORT command line switch, with MAXAGE=7
