remove master passwod and increase fonts

Hi all.

2 questions:

1. I'm a newbie on TB and I would like to know how to remove the "Input master password" signal that appears when I enter TB.

2. In addition, when I read messages on the botton of my TB, the font size is too small. I would like to increse it if possible, without changing the windos font size.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards

When you installed TB, you selected an encrypted message base. That's the reason TB asks for a password. That password is the encryption key, so the only way to remove/alter the password is to remove the message base.

This is the way to go about it:
Create a backup from within TB, select everything to be backupped.
Uninstall TB.
Delete your message base.
Install TB
Select that you don't want to use encryption.
Start TB
Restore yopur backup.

Options -> Preferences -> Plain text/MicroEd
or
Options -> Preferences -> HTML/Windows Editor
(depending on the view you're using.)

Thank you very much for your answer. Only one problem with it:

How do I delete my message base? Where in my hard disk is it (in which directory)? Or do I have to delete my mail accounts with all their messages?

Find your mail directory as listed in:
Options -> Preferences -> System
And delete that directory.

Well, I've tried it but it didn't work.

1. I checked the location of my message base as u said to me. It is in "C:\Documents and Settings\NameOfUser\Datos de programa\The Bat! Pwd"
2. I unistalled TB
3. I reboot win xp
4. I deleted the directories "C:\Documents and Settings\NameOfUser\Datos de programa\The Bat! Pwd" and "C:\Documents and Settings\NameOfUser\Datos de programa\The Bat!"
5. I installed TB

Then I checked the following error: Cannot open file "C:\Documents and Settings\NameOfUser\Datos de programa\The Bat! Pwd\ikey.id"

And TB closed itself inmediatly as I accepted that error.

What am I doing badly?

Thanks.

In that case I think that you're using TB in a restricted user account under Windows (at least not in the account you installed TB)

On unistalling TB only removes the registry info for the account that's doing the uninstalling. (That's more a Windows restriction than something related to TB.)
The best way to remove TB's registry settings is to start regedit and delete the full trre under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT\The Bat!
Afterwards you can start TB and pick your choices for new accounts, etc.
