The Bat! did not support UNICODE?

I love using The Bat!, it is an excellent e-mail client. But it did not support UNICODE?

Could you please clarify what do you mean by saying that it doesn't support Unicode? It does support Unicode actually.

How exactly do you write an email in Unicode, or even any non-latin character set? For example, if I want to write a plain text (not HTML) email in Japanese, using Unicode or shift-JIS, how would I do it?

Whenever I try, I always get a garbled message saved, with all non-latin characters as ???. Even if it's a HTML message, once it's been saved and re-opened it's corrupt.

If You select Plaintext editor called MicroEd, this editor doesn't support Unicode (yet), try Windows editor or HTML editor, You can select editor type in menu Editor's menu, Editor's status line or in program Preferences dialog (default setting).

As we know from developers, Microed editor is under rewriting now and it will support Unicode too.

I have tried both the Windows and HTML mode editors, but it does not work with either. I always end up with a garbled message.

Anyone care to do a little tutorial on how to do this?

As an ideal, it would be best to be able to send plain Unicode messages in MIME format rather than HTML. Is it at all possible?
