Yes, it's preferred though that you subscribe as a beta tester first.

I'm not Jean-Luc, but I think I am registered (I am registered in this forum, the page you link to rejects a new registration as a tester because I am already registered, and I have just subscribed to TBBETA.)  I'm not sure just what the next step in downloading the current Beta is.  (I'm eager to try it, because it contains a fix to a "working as designed" "feature" I had complained about, and the developers almost instantly made it an option and invited me to try it out in the Beta--staggeringly quick work, guys, and many thanks!) When you're subscribed to tbbeta you'll be notified there when the next beta is released, they're announced there.

I tried subscribing using the same username that I use here on these forums. It would not accept my username, saying that "it already exists."

Do I have to register using a different name? I'd like to use the same one for convenience.

I was told in early August that the feature I'm looking for is in the 3.81.13 Beta; I see that some people are running (I think) 3.85.something.  Is the Beta I want already out?  Thanks.  --Howard (not quite sure how, or whether, the QUOTE function works here)

The beta you're talking about has been released on 2 August. (That was the date I downloaded it.) The features/fixes addded in 3.81.13 are included in the 3.85 releases.

OK; would it be possible for me to download the most recent beta (3.18.13 or whatever) instead of waiting for the next one?  --Howard

From what I'm understanding, there is currently no beta available for download. The last beta was officially released as version 3.85.03.
