STARTUP hangs with "new version available" popup, my version was updated on Sept 5th

The popup is displayed.  The close icon "X" is GRAYED OUT.  The only way I can get out of this is to kill the program using task manager.

Has anyone else reported this problem?

I should say that my install is registered and uses a master password.  The popup is displayed after entering the master password.

HELP.

hit Enter or Esc, changelog is very long and diakog tries to display it whole. In the 3.85.03, this should be corrected.

Thanks Marek.  I have re-installed 3.85.03 and started the program ok.  I have changed the checking under options - preferences - updates.  It was set to check for updates when the Bat starts.  That box is now unchecked. I will check manually.  

I cannot see how to delete the master password checking.

The master password checking cannot be disabled as long as you're using OTFE (On The Fly Encryption).

In order to disable OTFE you need to make a full backup of your config (Tools -> Backup), uninstall TB, delete your message base, install TB again without enabling OTFE and restore from your backup.

I had the same problem but after installing 3.85.03 it looked fine.

But now The Bat is telling me there is a new version 3.85.03 but i already have that version (Home version)

So the auto update is not working 100%
