The new Beta

The new beta has some nice freatures - the smilies work etc. but for the life of me I can't find the promised ability to view HTML messages

They said it would be out in the next version but I can't find where to turn that on

What beta are you discussing?
AMOF Betas are off topic here, so you'd better get any real questions/remarks concerning beta versions to the tbbeta mailing list, that's the official platform to discuss betas.

downloading images is not available in 3.85 yet because it needs more internal testing and must be tested in TBBETA then.

WHen I first downloaded 3.85 it was in beta and i signed up for the beta group. I have received no further correspondence

Yeah, and your post shows just how ignorant you are. You specifically said "The new beta" when it's crystal clear that THERE IS NO NEW BETA - at least none listed on the beta page.
