Sorting Office/Filter - Delete after Redirect

I have a Sorting Office/Filter that automaticaly re-directs a copy of every e-mail I receive to another (backup) account.

I would prefer that the message is not stored in the sent items folder with all of the other messages that I send.

Is it possible to specify that only these messages are not stored in the sent folder?

Sure, that's possible.
Add a second action to your redirect filter and make that second action delete the original message.
This won't prevent the original message from being sent, because outgoing filters are executed after the message is sent.

Hi Roelof,

Many thanks for your previous post in this topic.

I tried your suggestion, but it is deleting the original incoming message.

I have a common filter that re-directs every message I receive to all of my accounts in The Bat! to an account at Gmail (for easier searching and backup).

I wish to keep the original messages in my inboxes but have the re-directed, sent messages removed after sending.

Every e-mail I send or reply to has the same Gmail address in the BCC field, so I am trying to work out if it is possible to, either,

1. Create a filter that will delete the messages from the sent folder after they have been re-directed to Gmail,

or

2. Have a maintenance schedule that scans all sent folders and removes these e-mails.

I have been trying to make this possible but without success so I am wondering, is it possible to accomplish this with The Bat!?

Create an outgoing filter that checks for the "Resent-from:" header and have that delete the resent instance of the message.

And remove the delete action from your original filter.
