Non-displayable characters in account log, ctrl-shift-a account log just displays non-displayable chars

Hi there,

When I look at the account log (ctrl-shift-a) it just displays graphic chars - not alphabetical or meaningful.

Any ideas?

I've de-installed and re-installed but no luck.

If I choose the a/c log from the drop-down list at the bottom of the screen it looks fine.

I'm using Win-XP Pro and  The Bat! 3.0.1.33.

Chris.

It should show the same as the staus bar (the drop down list at the bottom)

What do you see when you open the account log in a text editor? (Can be found in the directory matching with your account)

What if you close TB, delete (remove/rename) the account.log file and restart TB? Maybe the account.log has gone corrupted. What's the size of the file?

When I look at the account log in notepad it looks fine - exactly what I would expect to see, and it matches what is displayed at the bottom of the screen in the log display area. FIle size ranges from 1K to 20K, depending on what account I choose (I have 5).

I looks to me like a font display problem. Is that possible? I'm running a standard US-English version of Win-Xp SP2.

Forgot to say - I deleted the account log file and restarted The Bat! - same problem.
