Migrating PCs and TB versions

I have several hundred MBs of mail in TB that I want to retain, and am moving from an old PC - W98SE, TB Pro - to a new upgraded PC - XP Pro SP2, TB Voyager (not Pro), eg to move to Voyager, do I need to go to TB Pro first on the XP box? Transfer this backup to the new pc (or have it available via the LAN) Install Voyager Don't create a new account, but go for 'restore from backup' __________________________________ I'm just a user of The Bat! nlkes Master Posts: 56 Points: 99 Rating: 1 Authority: 1 Joined: 02 June 2005	#3 0 26 November 2006 16:20:49 don't forget to check if you have accounts or folders with a set "home directory" other than the default location (account properties/files&dirs), and if anyhow possible do eliminate these paths before backup! (else TB will try to use those paths while restoring in the new environment which usually means trouble!)
