In the help file with The Bat Professional 3.8x the help file discusses where attachments are stored. They can be stored within the message or in a separate directory.  I haven't found the screen that specifies where this choice is made and where the directory is specified.  

For reference part of the help file is quoted here:

"Keep attachment files - You can keep your attachments either within the message or in a separate directory. If set to Separate directory you can manipulate the saved files outside of The Bat!; attached files will be stored in the ATTACH directory in your account's main system folder. Beware: Attachments stored separately from message may not get moved between account folders when you move the message!

Directory - Choose the directory to store file attachments in.  Applicable only if you use Separate directory instead of With message body."

How is this directory "chosen" and where is it that the attachments are chosen to be stored "within the message." From the fact that I can't find the attatched file with windows SEARCH function I must be storing the attachments within the message but I haven't found the screen where this choice is made.

I probably ought to mention I am using the iKey which does on the fly encryption of the message base.  I suppose that might mean the option of storing attachments is not available with OTFE... Can someone confirm this?  Thanks
