Lost Folders...

Hello there...

I am facing the known "lost folders" problem. I imported my mail from Outlook, but suddenly some folders (and subfolders) have disappeared, although they area "physically" present on the hard disk.

Even if it is a feature and not a bug, this is a totally unacceptable behaviour. I had to start searching the net, to see that this is known...
Ctrl+Shift+Alt+L has made no difference. I am still searching for my emails.

1. What is causing it ?

2. How will I know that tomorrow (after restoring everything) this will not happen again? Do I have to continously compare the hard disk folders with the folders shown on TheBat ? Please say "No".

3. How do I recover the lost folders? Do not tell me "Search on your disk, make a note of the missing folders/subfolders, create them all again and import all messages".  This is torture ... You have to pay me to do that. Instead I just have paid to purchase the product...

Thanks

if the folders physically exist under the TB account folder but don't appear in TB, just create new folders in TB with exactly the same names as the physical folders and at the same places. After you restart TB, it should read them - there should be no need to import the messages again, if the first import procedure finished OK (in which case the physical folders should contain message base files - MESSAGES.TBB - inside)

Alexandros: TheBat is the email of choice not only for GEEKS, but for MASOCHISTS!

Isnt that why you paid for it in the first place, so you can enjoy manually recreating folder structures when they randomly disappear??  :|

Remeber that Ctrl-Alt-Shift-L only works when you've got the focus on the account tree pane (with the accounts and folders)
