Synchronising doesnt work

Hi .. i had posted this to the BAT help ticket.. but no one answered me  :(

so i was wondering any one out here on the forum could help please.

i have 2 bat's installed .. both same version .. one for my laptop and one for my office pc both PC is running windows XP professional Service Pack 2

now when i try to synchronise both ways ( from laptop to pc or pc to laptop) i have 2 problems

1. It takes about an hour
2. It duplicates all the emails , instead of synchronising them... so i end up having double copies all my emails in all the folders... then i have to run the Maintenance feature to kill all duplicates...

can this be fixed? is there any settings problems?

It's been a while since I tried the sync procedure, but this is how it should be.

PC: Tools -> Synchronise -> Step 1
Copy the created file to the laptop
Laptop: Tools -> Synchronise -> Step 2
Copy the created file to the PC
PC: Tools -> Synchronise -> Step 3

Now you should be done. Both systems should have the same messages, but no duplicates.

I see that you've got two different configs. One with five accounts and one with six. That might be problematic, but I've never tried to match different configs, so I can't comment on that.

the procedure you mention is correct , i have done that..

but the configs.. i get the choose which account i need to synchronise..

whether i want all 5 or only 1.. the duplicates still happen.
