Hi. I'm contemplating the possibility of buying a license for the bat!

i have a couple questions:

What are the differences between the student and pro license? i'm a student but i want to know if i get a dumbed down version or something like that.

What are the update policies? current verson is 3.95 so a mayor version is coming in a not distant future.. will i have to pay for it all over again if i buy a license now?

For contrast, look at the Thunderbird Mozillazine forums; there are literally hundreds of posts per day about major problems. 2/ The Bat's user-base is relatively small (compared to Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail and for some strange reason, Thunderbird). Personally, I'd use the contact info to get answers directly from Ritlabs for pre-sales questions. This is more of a 'self-help' forum for users.
