I'm using TheBat! Pro, v 3.98.4; XP-Pro with latest updates installed.
I use a satellite connection to the Internet. TheBat! is set to send/receive EMail every 5 minutes.
Occasionally, the Internet connection will hang (usually during periods of high activity). TheBat! log window will show 'receiving mail messages', but will never go on to 'connected to POP3 server'. This hangs until I close TheBat!
I have all accounts set to 60-second server time-out, but these hung connections could go on for hours if I happen to not be at my computer.
Why doesn't the connection time-out after the 60-second time period?
Is there something else that I need to configure so that these connections don't hang?
