Folder Difference?

What's the difference between a Virtual Folder, Common Folder and Common Virtual Folder?  They seem to bring up the same box to select options for them.

I only use virtual non-common folders so not 100% sure, but I guess it goes like this

A virtual folder is a folder that does not keep 'real' messages but only links (references) to messages that reside in other folders. Somewhat like desktop shortcuts which are not the real files but links to them. Note however that deleting a message from a virtual folder will result in a real deletion of that message from the non-virtual folder where it resides.

A common (but not virtual) folder is a folder that does not belong to a specific account. It's outside the defined accounts, and keeps 'real' messages

A common virtual folder is a common folder that contains links to messages instead of 'real' messages.

Ok I seem to understand it... but I guess I don't see a difference between common and regular.  In other words... create a new folder or new common folder seems to be the same as does create new virtual folder or new common virtual folder.

they are same, but placed inside or outside accounts

ahhh I understand now.  Might be good to specify in the help and/or put it in the tips if it's not already.
