The Bat! is a very good software, but it's not good for dispalying Chinese. Does The Bat! have a plan to improve its support for Chinese?

Thank you, what do you mean exactly by saying that it's not good for dispalying Chinese? Do you have problems writing messages with Chinese characters? Or when you receve HTML messages with Chinese, these messages aren't displayed properly by The Bat!?

It  has also troubled me for a long time.  When the Content-Type is text/plain and charset="GB2312", the email is always displayed incorrectly in all 3.x version including 3.99. The blanks changed into question marks followed by wrong codes. However, if the email is composed by html, the displaying is much better. Hope in the new version it may be improved. Thanks a lot!

That is exactly my problem.
I receive mail from Korean (very often). To show the message properly I have to do following:
Click on message - go to view/character set and click for example Chinese simplified (EUC). Now I see the message OK but in the box with received messages it is still in Korean so now I have to do following:
Click on inbox - go to Folder/Propperties, in General set the character set to Chinese simplified and then it is OK even in the box, but it applies only to that one specific message - I have to do this with each message again and again.
Is there a possibility to set this up somehow to be default?
I'm using version 3.95.8
The Bat! looks very attractive and this looks to be the only problem.
