I am using the exact same outgoing smtp settings in Windows Mail (Vista) as I am in the Bat but the bat will not send mail with these same settings!  It's driving me nuts - I am configured for Verizon wireless and I use authentication - user is my Verizon telephone number @vzwmail.net (I don't have a Verizon cell phone but there is a tel no assigned to my account for my wireless service for data (laptop) anyway).  smtp.vzwmail.net is my smtp server info.  Port 25 (I have also used 587 with no luck either, Verizon says the port doesn't matter.

Can anyone tell me if there is some additional setting in the bat that I need to configure?  I have used the bat for many years on my home comp and now need to use it on my laptop.
