Can I load theBat! onto my web hosts' web server?
If so, would I simply ftp the files?
It's not a windows server.

You can upload it, but you cannot run it from your hosts' server. Of course it is possible to map the ftp site to a drive letter and start TB in that way, but as that still means it's running on your own computer I don't see any advantages.

Thanks for your reply.

I want to use the watch and send feature of TB to clear a web folder often, and direct the files from the web folder to a folder on my computer. So "still means it's running on your own computer", is a good thing, maybe.

So is "mapping the ftp site to a drive letter and start TB in that way" a difficult task? will it accomplish my goal of "using the watch and send feature of TB to clear a web folder often"?

Thank you. I look forward to receiving your reply.

In that case I'd forget about loading TB on the server, just install it locally. You want to check a folder on the server, no need to have TB there.

To map the ftp site to a drive letter, play around with:
Explorer -> Tools -> Network connection
I'm not sure about the actual names in the explorer, as I'm using a Dutch version myself.
If you don't manage this by yourself, contact your host for specifics.
