Quoted text in reply, Loses spaces

When replying to a mail, the space between some words in the quoted text disappears seemingly at random. Is this a documented problem, and, if so, is there a solution?

Thanks in advance,

It is a problem with extracting quotes from HTML messages. I thought that this issue had been cleared. It has certainly been reported. You don't state which version you are running.

More information: This issue is down as "fixed" in version 3.0.0.7.

Not the same problem but it deals with the same issue. I cannot get The Bat to "properly" wrap quoted text in replies. Text that was originally:

Opened the case once, the first striking thing is the "very good cable management"
on the inside that "other manufacturers could take as an example."

becomes:

CS> Opened the case once, the first striking thing is the "very good
cable management"
CS> on the inside that "other manufacturers could take as an example."

I've tried adjusting every setting I can see (smart wrapping of quoted text and so on...) but still the problem won't go away. (Short of making text wrap at, say, 90 characters.) Am I missing something? I'm using The Bat 3.01.33, and the email was sent from The Bat 1.62R.

Thanks.

What editor are you using?

Plain text Windows (proportional fonts.)

The problem doesn't happen with the HTML editor, although that's not quite the solution I'm aiming for...  ;)

Try the MicroEd version, that's the pone I prefer anyway.

Roelof:

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't want to use a plain text, fixed width font editor...  :|

In that case, add a bug to the bug tracker:
