Sharing message base, I want to use theBat with subsets of mail for different users

I have my own domain to which almost all mail is delivered to a catchall account.

I download from this using POP3, and have a stack of filters, one of which is to route mail from recognised addresses for my young daughter, and a seconds allows me to review mail for my daughter and forward it if it's not offensive / spam.

This is fine, but means that she needs to use my copy of theBat, and be logged in as me on my main PC which is a real no-no.

What I'd like to be able to do is:
1) single download session, like now
2) filtering as per above
3) access to specific users mail within the mail database
4) ideally access from different computers on my home network.

How much of this can be achieved?

Can be done.
Create an account for your daughter, but don't locate that account (you can select where you want it) in your default mail directory.
Set the settings for that account that she can send, but not download. (mess up the passwords)

Filter her mail just as you're doing now. And drop it in her account.

Create a new user account on your PC for your daughter. Configure TB in that account to use the location of your daughter's mail account as mail directory in TB. Now she can login without using your account and access only her own mail and nothing gets through without your knowledge/permission.

Access via the LAN can be done too in a similar way, simply share the location of your daughter's mail over the LAN.

I hope this helps.
