Check for updates...

Having just bought a licence for v3.99.03 I notice that there is a new version 3.99.24 Of course I would like to be up to date with all the bells and wistles that the bat can do.

When I press the "check for updates" menu items it comes back and says that there are no updates...

So what is happening here? Does this function not work? Does the function need an update so that it can start to look for updates...?

Very strange in my humble opinion (and a little frightening).

Does anyone have an idea?
