new gmail imap

gmail introduced today imap protocol, did any one manage to make it work?

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
Connection: Secure to dedicated port (TLS)
      Port: 465

Mail Server: imap.gmail.com
      User: {your_username}
  Password: {your_password}
Connection: Secure to dedicated port (TLS)
      Port: 993

yes I know, but it doesn't work for me, it stops on TLS auth. and nothing more happens

Are you sure, your account is IMAP-"ready"?

If you use a webbrowser and log in what do you see after using the link "settings" (on the right top corner)?
"Forwarding and POP/IMAP" or just "Forwarding and POP"?

If you just see the last tab then your account is not IMAP-enabled at this time; you have to wait! :(

Otherwise try to enable IMAP on the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab!

Hey there,
I configured imap and it works from within the bat! perfectly, but when I make changes on my account withing the browser these are not reflected in the bat! like deleting a message or sending one from the browser....is imap only one way do I do something wrong?

The Bat! is not the best in the IMAP sector. But there is a refresh set in The Bat! so mostly after ten minutes or so the changes should be reflected.

I am trying to configure The Bat to work with Gmail IMAP.
Does anyone know the steps? Please email me at support@webafella.com

I have just configured The Bat to work with IMAP. The only folders I see are Inbox, Outbox, Sent mail and Trash. How came I cannot see my other folders and is there any way I can?
