Suggestion For The Bat v4.0

Why dont you improve calendar feature of The Bat? The Bat is better than Outlook but Outlook's calendar feature is the best.

Ohhh, Riplabs ..  :D

I've got a suggestion, or 23, I'll share with you regarding what you can do with v4.

I would like to support this suggestion very strongly.

We came over to The Bat! from Thunderbird when Thunderbird got into all sorts of trouble some time ago.  We are very pleased with this decision, because The Bat! works so well and can be configured exactly as required.  It is a great improvement on Thunderbird.

By doing that, however, we lost Thunderbird's exellent Lightning Calendar extension.  Instead, we installed Mozilla's standalone Sunbird calendar, but then Mozilla, in its massive lack of wisdom, decided to cease all future development of Sunbird.

This is all most unstaisfactory, because:
* We don't like using a programme that is no longer updated.
* We would like to have calendar and email integrated.

We will have to move to Outlook's calendar eventually, with all its unwieldy structure.  But we would far rather have the icalendar structure.  It is so easy to back up and to sync between computers on the one network.

Please, Bat!, could you develop your current Scheduler into something at least resembling the very nice Sunbird GUI so that we can have a properly integrated icalendar and email, written by people at RIT who know what they are doing.
