ISP Upgrades email servers No connection on POP client, TheBat wont grab mail after ISP server change

My ISP has all along had typical POP/SMTP server to deliver mail. It has begun upgrading the mail servers to integrate with MSN.

So where as in the past the POP setting were (eg) pop6.sympatico.ca and SMTP smtp1.sympatico.ca they now want the fields to read pophm.sympatico.ca (directing the POP client to the hm(hotmail) servers.

Along with user name changes, the wanted me to use the "Connection" to be secured to dedicated port 995.

So I have the ability to SEND mail on this account, but not GET MAIL. The error I'm getting is a cut and past from the bat err log.

I  need help with this. I can't be the ONLY person from Sympatico using TheBat trying to re-configure for their new settings.

ask ISP about certificate for hostname pophm.sympatico.ca and import this certificate to "Trusted Root CA" address Book

I asked...; They said "we don't support TheBAT and so talk to Microsoft"
