Folder display customization

It's a TODO color group. It is possible to highlight somehow the folder in folder list when it contains email messages ? I need it to be bold or another color only when I have emails in it, otherwise to be normal.

I don't like to leave emails not readed because 'the litle bat' will always flap his wings in taskbar witch is anoying for me. This is another thing I would like to be possible. Its ok to alert on new message but once I opened the main window tray icon should know that and don't notify unless new emails are in inbox since I opened the main window. Atleast this is how courier email works (former calypso).
