List of Symbols

The help page called "List of Symbols" contains only this:

differently coloured envelopes
toolbar buttons
various flags (from Flag to Park)

There are no symbols listed. Actually there is not a single image in the CHM file...

I'd really like to know how to read all those symbols - especially in the message list.

Daniel

What symbols do you encounter that you don't understand?

Those called "message flags".

Daniel

That's the red flag you can see on tp of the message list, you can mark meesages that way. Simply to have stick out of the rest. Because they're important or because you've got to act upon them.

That's not what I mean.

I am talking about the envelopes, which show up in various variants:

- Closed (quite clear what it means)
- Open
- Open with green on left side
- Open with yellow circle and check sign on it
- Open and completely red

Daniel

- Open - you read it(it was displayed in the message viewer for 3 seconds or so)

- Open with green on left side - you replied to that msg

- Open with yellow circle and check sign on it - msg is signed (not sure)

- Open and completely red - red means acc. to sender the msg has high priority

Additionally there's
- Open with blue on right side - message has been forwarded (might be a different colour, I'm colour challenged)
- Open with green on left and blue on right side - message has been forwarded and replied to
- Open (or closed) with yellow circle and check sign - message is signed either with PGP/MIME or S/MIME (The difference between the two is that you need PGP or GPG to verify the first and the second wll verify automatically with TB, the downside of the latter variety is that it's bigger) Messages can also be signed with the PGP signature at the bottom of the body, but those aren't marked in the message list.
- Apart from red, the envelope can have another colour (light blue or something, I stand open for corrections) as the message has a low priority. (TB shows three priorities (high, normal, low)
