Configuring The Bat Pro with Orbit XDA, Downloading Emails from POP3 to The Bat and Orbit in the same time.

Dear All,

I trust you're well.
I've purchased Orbit XDA and thought it would be good to synchonise my pop 3 accounts with it. I've got internet connected to my XDA over EDGE 24/7. When i try to syncronize it with my GMAIL account it doesn't seem to be working. It downloads the header of the email and then removes it automaticaly. After few moments when i open The Bat it downloads message without any issues....? Any idea..?

If someone could help me would be appreciated...?
Is there any logical way of synchronizing this XDA with The Bat and Gmail account...? I also have got push technology in XDA but i can't find a proper article to find out how i can make an use of it....?

Is there any way it can help with synchronising emails on XDA with The Bat..?

Gmail has a strange pop implementation, downloading messages or seeing new messages only works once.

Michael,

I presume you have a POP3 email account and are using TB to send/receive mail ?

If you set-up your Orbit to do the same it can send/receive email from the same POP3 account..

I think the Email software in Windows Mobile is quite basic so you could take a look at maybe Flexmail or the like for your Orbit - http://webis.net/products_info.php?p_id=mail

The push technology on the Orbit (Windows Mobile) is designed primarily to have email pushed to the device my Microsoft Exchange similar to a Blackberry in a corporate environment.
