Attachments problem, Cannot attach files
 

From one day to the next, my formerly reliable v. 3.99.25 has suddenly stopped attaching files. When I click on Attach files/MIME-coded, the file extension is wrong (*.zip). When I change this back to *.*, no files are shown in the directories. (I have checked under "View", the problem is not there.)

I am a translator and need to send out many files every day, so this is something of a disaster.

Any help much appreciated!

I don't know how to cure this, but as a workaround you could try this:
Open the explorer, browse to the file you want to attach and drag it to TB.
That should attach it.

Thanks Roelof, I will give that a try. I've discovered that I can actually attach files - I just can't see them to select them. Very irritating, but as long as I can work ...

No idea what caused this. As I say, it was just from one day to the next. If I find a solution, I'll post it here.
 
I've contacted support and they suggested that this would be cured in a recent alpha version of v4, so I suggest that you try it again when v4 goes public.

Yes, it looks like an actual software bug.



 

The problem has been solved with the new 4.0.14. :D
