4.0.0.22 missing integration with Windows, 4.011 too

It was ok in all Alpha version I suppose. I installed final 4.0 on top of old installation. Now I can not start TB from Windows "Menu Start": Explorer.exe "Application can not be found" (My free translation). Windows Vista Business 32bit and the same on Vista Home Premium 64bit. Options/Preferences, Applications "Associate Now" does not help either.  There is no TB on the "Default Programs" list in control panel.  Any ideas?

The same situation with 4.07
Next observations - it is not possible to associate TB to  .msg files in CP. Description says "Internet Mail Message File, Unknown application". Adding manually impossible. The same with *.eml.

Problem still exists in 4.0.11

Bump
Version 4.0.14, problem still exists. Can anyone confirm, or it is only problem of my configuration?

I can confirm that
I'm not able to choose TB as the default email application (as it doesn't exist in the list of programs). The shortcut in my startmenu does produce the same error, something like application couldn't be found. I've used V3.99 before doing the upgrade, everything worked fine with the old version.

Same here - and therefore mailto: links are not being opened in TB any longer - wish I didn't upgrade - *sigh*

FYI: Version 4.0.14 Pro, on Vista Business 64-bit

I am on XP but had the same problem. I had to replace the icons after each upgrade with the one in the newly created or updated "All Programs" menu

Exactly the same here.  Cannot make The Bat! the default email client.  Worked fine on 3.99.

Any official comments to this?
