lost threading in ver. 4.0.11, threding od messages in a folder

Hello,

I do have to admit that after updating directly from the 3.99 into the 4.0.11. - my threading and re-threading of msgs, was kept. In these few days after having installed the newest version, if I can well remember, I did use the threading feature for a few times, yes.

But, due to a problem with one of my email accounts' filters, i.e. strangelly the email account seemed to be protected*** by password, and I could not approach to filtering - I decided to uninstall fully everything.

Now, with a clean install of 4.0.11 - I can't find where and how to use the threading messages feature. Or am I only distracted? In fact, besides natural threading, I use the re-thread function in manual mode. Both of them for me, are a mistery now.

The feature you're looking is 'viewmodes'.
Folder -> Folder viewmode -> Manage viewmodes
Here's where you define the viewmode(s) threading, sorting, etc.
You can define multiple viewmodes and assign them to different folders.

Thank you v.m., I did it. What I wanted to maintain, is threading and default distribution of the columns, even in the "Generic" view. For me, this configuration, is the most simple one: everything is internally threaded, I can manually re-thread a message into a desired place, and the column distribution is still standard one, without abrupt visual change which even captures too much space.
