No Escape from spell check, BAT does not send if spell check is canceled

Hi all,

yesterday I switched to version 4.0.14. In the version before, I had spell check before send switched on. If I did not want to check all the document, I used the CACEL button.
A dialog popup came up an asked if I wanted to continue editing the mail. If I said no, the message was sent.

Now this dialog does not come; I have to finish spellcheck word by word or switch of the 'check before send/queue' option.

What's wrong?

I'd like to see a Notes-like 'Send as is' - button or at least the dialog of the revious version.

Regards,

Clemens

Forget about those settings.
The only setting that's really useful IMO is Automatic checking, that's checking while you type.

What you describe has been a bug in the 4.0.x series that ONLY effects the HTML editors.  You can use either of the plain text editors and the check before send option will work fine.

I believe I'm set up using text only and am seeing this bug. MicroEd and reply to HTML with plain text is checked.

I agree this is a pain.

Well, it seems in the later releases that this bug has moved into the Windows PT editor as well.  For me, the only editor in which the check before send works is the MicroEd.

You are right, Doug, this is a REAL PAIN!
