How to watch all messages, and not just specific folders when setting up a virtual folder?

I want to make a virtual folder showing all my flagged messages, but I can't find the "Watch all messages" checkbox. :-)

Create a new Common VIRTUAL Folder
Under FILTER choose "Use Fast search" and under fast search types choose "Flagged"
Then under "Select FOlders choose "Select ALL and you're done

I may be doing something wrong, but if I add a new folder, do I have to go into every virtual folder and watch this new folder?

Maybe there is a way to watch all/every message and not specific folders?

When you create the Common Virtual Folder you will see a button on the lower left that says "Select folders" Open that and all the folders in the tree are present unchecked. Choose "Select ALL" and they will all be checked and that should give you the effect you want.

I did this, but if I create a new folder later on and flag a message in this new folder it doesn't show up in my virtual flagged folder. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

It seems that the virtual folder wont watch future folders? But that can't be right!? :-)

If you create a new folder THAT folder is unchecked and you have to go into the virtual folder and add the check mark.

Damn! Why is there something wrong with every single e-mail client? :-)

So through four versions of this, otherwise excellent, piece of software, you have manual added every new folder to all of your virtual folders?

Thanks for the replies - I'll come back to check for new versions once in a while.

Peter - when you have been creating folders, just go into the virtual folder and SELECT ALL folders again - that will catch them all.
