Does NOD32 Plugin work with V. 3 of NOD32?

Does anyone know if TB's NOD32 antivirus plugin works with version 3.0 of NOD32?  The plugin was last updated in 2005 and version 3 didn't come out till late last year.

Thanks in advance

There is no need to use this plugin. By default NOD scans  incoming messages on port 110. If you use secure (TLS) connection, you should add port 995 to NOD config. I used nice test service to test my antivirus shield: http://www.aleph-tec.com/eicar/ All 'viruses' have been detected (except zipped with password in graphical form).

Well, I've tried dozens and dozens of times to use this eicar link .. it will not accept -any- attempt at typing in the code as being valid.

Using Opera 9.26

I was mostly unable to use the test emails because my ISP caught most of the emails before they got to me.  The one they didn't catch because a message from them said that their antivirus service was "temporarily unavailable" was the same one Marek said his nod32 AV program didn't catch--zipped password in graphical form.  However, even when that was saved to disk and subject to a context menu NOD32 scan, it couldn't scan the file because it was password protected.

Still, I'd feel a lot better if the NOD32 plugin worked with the latest version 3+ of NOD32.

alas it can't work, because NOD3 has no plugin API implemented yet, we have asked them for updated version and this is what they replied.
