write down: EN> in microeditor: it will dissapear, or any two-character word or acronym

that's it: i have no nerves to examine.

all two-character words, or acronyms, whatsoever, when ">" is added, makes all the writing vanish.

Version 4.0.18.

Well, I reverted to 4.0.18 (I was using a newer beta) and try to reproduce it, but I can't.

What version of Windows are you using, what language, what hppens with the rest of the text on the same line?

Hello,

WindblowsIksPi. This thing occurs in the MicroEditor only, in plain text, and only in the very beginning of the line. In Windows editor, or Html/Plain text or pure Html, is ok.

Most possibly, the programme "imagines" that writing EN>, or DK>, resembles to the quotes used in replies. Or, interferes with famous "blocks" in the body of the text. I never understood, or wanted to, what all that stuff of blocks, persistent or not, pretend to mean. I just know that the idiotic hitting of Ctrl+L, Ctrl+J, in order to reformat the pasted text, is an operation, I'll never do any more.

Occurs also in the todays' latest version 4.0.20.

Since, spellchecking is now possible with the Windows editor, it would be a good solution to use it.
