Backup a few folders, Backing up only certain folders

Is there a way to backup only certain folders?

My backup takes almost 1.8GB and The Bat is running slow.

There are some folders that I would like to archive separately from my normal backups but be sure I do not erase those archives. I sometimes delete my old backups.

That way I can delete the emails I archived.  They are not emails that I need to for daily operations but they may be needed as evidence at some point.  Of the over 90,000 emails I have, they make up about 60,000 of them.

of course that's possible.

The physical folder structure of theBat account matches exactly the folder structure you see in the account tree inside the program itself.
So close theBat and go to
<mail folder>\<account folder>

Inside you'll see physical folders named like the folders in theBat account. Simply rar or zip the desired folders, and you have a backup.

Then you can delete folders from theBat, selecting to delete the message bases as well.
To access the messages later, just extract the backup in the account folder, start theBat and press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+L

The best and most simple and flexible method to make a backup is to simply rar/zip the entire mail folder, or desired parts of it
