Quick search bug FREEZE, can it be fixed?

Hello,
I was wondering why the quick search tab hasn't been fixed?
Its got I think a bug. When you copy eg. email address and do a quick search, when you try again... the same thing it gives you false none results.

in short: you CANT do a quick search two times if that is in memory clipboard??!!
in 10 % of times you can do it again but sometimes if you copy something from email header or something like that quick search just FREEZE..
and I do alot of quick searches a day.. so this bugs me :)
did someone else experienced this?
please fix this thanks!

I can't reproduce your bug, I can do quick searches for numerous items, whether I copy the search via the clipboard or type it manually.

Only thing I can imagine that you're trying to search for a new string while the old search result is still being displayed. In that case you're using your new search string on the previous result, but that's a feature, not a bug.

Between two unrelated quick searches you've got to select the 'All' tab again (when you've set TB to display message list tabs) or (when TB doesn't display message list tabs) you've got to press Ctrl+= (From the menu View -> Display -> All messages)

nope.... ALL is selected!
ALl messages are visible..

theonly thing helps is to navigate search string right to the "ALL" tab and delete it , then I can serach for it again...

just noticed that if I have serached something and it is there right to the ALL filter then it cannot be quick searched again...

I had this with thebat 2,3,4, XP and Vista

mhm.. only if I delete the filter by right clicking on it and then delete, but this is not clean solution.

Odd, just like I said, I can't reproduce that.

My default setting is to disable message list tabs, does disabling those solve your problem (select the 'All' tab before you disable them.)

strange.. now it works :) thanks!
I have disabled message list tabs.

is this a bug, or one unlogical feature?
