Bat on XP??

Bat on XP??, Does Bat run on XP

I am getting an XP-home computer and hope to run The Bat on it. Will The Bat install and run without problems on it?? Thank you, Casey p.s. The only thing I find missing from The Bat is no provision for running Rich Text messaging (as with Thunderbird).
