Disappearing Attachments

When I forward an email with a pdf file attached, the other person gets the email but not the pdf file. Anybody got a fix or hint?

A further test might help. Do you have another email account on another domain? If so CC yourself and send the PDF again. If you get it and your friend doesn't, something on his end is stripping it.

Thanks. I did do that to other accts through the Bat and via webmail. I can manually attach pdf files to an email and they go through fine. I can receive pdf's. Just can't forward them with TB. Got me stumped.

Is the problem only with pdf attachments or with all kinds of attachments?

All attachments. But today they go through just fine. Maybe the attachment trolls were off voting yesterday!

Odd.
TB used to have this setting that you could select whether attachments were included with the forwardor not. IIRC It could be found in the account settings, but I can't find it right now. Might be related to me running OTFE or to the alpha I'm currently using.

One issue with attachments that has me going crazy is that they come through ok, and I can open them in the correct application, but if I try saving them from the Bat window the file extension is striped so that when double clicking on them later they do not open.

Maybe this is part of the confusion of lost attachments.

This kind of behavior is usually attributable to Virus scanners. I just went through this with one person who couldn't get any attachments from me until he watched and SAW his AVG removing the attachmet
