error when opening scheduler

When I open scheduler, I get an error saying "failed to set calendar selected range." The calendar is always on October 31, 2007. If I set it to the correct date, it is back to October 31, 2007 next time I open scheduler. My computer clock is correct.

It's only a little niggle as the tasks I have set work correctly, but it's one of those things I'd like to get rid of.

One task is to purge & compress all folders. Is it possible to somehow have this on the toolbar? I have one that works for individual folders, but I can't figure out if it possible to have one for all folders.
