Urgent Help Needed! Can't Sync - v4.1

Hi, I posted this before, but I probably didn't make my problem clear. So I'm posting this again and hoping someone can help out.

I'm trying to synchronize the TB between a laptop and a desktop. start with tools->synchronise, checked all proper boxes and selected a shared folder on desktop to store the sync file, hit ok and I was expecting the sync process for the desktop copy of TB to start, but instead, I received this msg "Waiting for synchronsiation single. Please select the same data exchange folder on the remote machine and start synchronisation there..."

if I do the same on the laptop copy of TB, I get the exact same msg. and there is no way to proceed, hit ok won't do anything, hit cancel just brings me back to the main synchronisation window.

This is a huge issue for me as I need to keep my google account up-to-date with all messages on all machines. Can some one pls help?

BTW, I'm on WinXP SP3 and TB v4.1.

Are you sure that both copies are the sae vesion and that they're pointing to the same map?

yes, the shared folder is on the desktop, so the desktop pc is pointing to the local shared folder where as the laptop points to the same shared folder on the desktop.

I'm having the same problem.  Unfortunately my registration hasn't arrived yet so I can't send a ticket to support. :(

to make a full *ONE*-directional synchronization of two PC's, it's enough to simply copy theBat mail folder from PC1 to PC2 (or from PC2 to PC1), overwriting existing files on the target PC.
TheBat should be closed on both.
In case you have huge message bases, use some sync app that'll copy only the files that differ, to speed up the process.

This is the best method if you use theBat on one PC at a time and don't switch PC's very often. It's not suitable if you use theBat on both PC's every day.
