Indication of mail being replied to

I cannot find a way to indicate that a message has been replied to. I normally get a large list of emails to reply to which I have to keep for information so cannot delete them when I have replied. On my last email program, if I replied to an email it left a flag to remind me I had replied to it. Is this possible on the TB?

Steve

replied messages have another icon and differ from non-replied (although in the 3.85 version that I use the difference is hard to notice and I had to manually change the icon for replied messages).

oops, maybe I misunderstood you.
The above is for incoming messages to which you replied.
If you want to know to which of your outgoing messages the recipient replied, I'm afraid that's not possible (not sure if any mail client has such feature)

Thanks Bigg One.. It was incoming messages that I was talking about. I use MSGTAG for outgoing messsages to let me know that at least they have recieved them..
I can now se a small green mark on the envelope of those I have replied to.. If that is correct I also need to change the icon (that's if I can find it in Windows7)
Thanks again fella

well I don't remember exactly what I did to change the icon, but related files from my TB install dir are here

http://rapidshare.com/files/230344609/tb.zip.html

You may extract them to your install dir (** make sure to make a backup if some of these files already exists **), then restart theBat and see if icon is changed.

The strange thing is the first bitmap referenced in the .xml file actually does not exist, but still the icon gets changed - may be it comes from some built in icon set. What actually changes the icon seems to be the line about mlvReply in the .xml - that is, I guess, the overlay icon for replied messages.

How it looks on my system is displayed in result.JPG file. Note that I use v3.85.03, it may not work for v.4.x

I am using the latest version and unfortunately it leaves a lot of black icons
(black square where icon should be) so I will have to keep a watch on the small green flag.
Thanks for your help anyway
Steve..  :D

Hi Marek,
Windows 7 and TB 4.1.11.
But needless to say I now have it all sorted thanks to Bigg_ones advice.. made me search and found  a thread with loads in and am now using the Outlook Express type glyphs which look very nice and also do what I required.
But thanks for asking.. it is appreciated
:D
