What a frustrating problem!!!

This is the 4 or 5th time it is repeating and I just ran out of my patience!
The story:

Whenever I open "create a new message" and start writing, if I leave the open message and go to do something else (like web browsing or replying messenger people ) when I return to continue writing message...nothing can be clicked! It just freezes! I can click any place inside the window of my new message!

The only alternative is to lose everything I have already written and close thebat and restart it and writing a new message again WITHOUT navigating out of new message window!

OS: Vista Ultimate
Laptop: HP Pavilion dv2

Hi!
Which version of The Bat! do you have this problem on?

I self use the latest v4.2.6 in my laptop (Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li1718) and i can't reproduce this problem.

Have you tried to first minimize both windows  (i have configured the main window to minimize to the taskbar)
Does it still happen?

I m using Voyager 4.2 ( latest version ).

Yes, I tried but even "minimize", "maximize" and "close" tabs can't be clicked. Nothing but closing voyager completely!

This is happening to two of us as well.  Vista Ultimate w/sp2, The Bat 4.2.9.1 Pro.

If you're in the middle of typing an email and go to something else, it often hangs that email creation window.  It won't close, you can't click on anything within it, and you have to close The Bat entirely to get it to fix.  This is very frustrating when you've typed most of a long email.

This is a seriously annoying problem.  The only thing I've been able to do when this happens (which is alot), is to close The Bat, and when it prompts me, save the email I was working on.  Then, when I re-open The Bat, it's in the outbox.

Just decided to move from Thunderbird to The Bat! and it seems like I'll have to go back since I got the very same problem.

The difference is that it only happens when I minimise The Bat! to tray and then try to use the short way (right-click on the tray icon -> New) - I got the editor window and that's it. Can't click on anything, can't type, nothing. Also can only kill it via process manager or right-clicking on taskbar and choosing "close". Same things happen if I try to get to SmartBat or address book via the tray icon. It sucks badly.

Any of you guys managed to find a solution?

Cheers,
