SPAM filter stopped working
 
Hello,

I use the BayesIt spam filter. At one point I backed up my emails from my desktop to my laptop and used my laptop for a week or so. Then I backed up my laptop and put it back on my desktop. That is all fine, except that the BayesIt filter is no longer filtering junk mail. I have retrained it on 1000 junk mails but it is not doing anything. Could there be anything obvious I am missing?

Check your spam settings at options->Preferences->Anti-spam

I have, everything looks fine. its says bayesit 0.7.3. use average score. Move to junk if score >50.

but its not doing anything. Should I remove and add it back?
 
You could try the latest plug-in. The version you're using never did anything for me (except causing troubles) the current version picks most of my spam. You can download it from the ritlabs site.

Thank you for letting me know that there was a new plug in. I must admit though, it was a bit difficult to find. I had to search for it through google. It does not seem to be linked from your downloads page.

I will let you know if I have any further problems. Thanks for your help!
