Address book and Unicode

Despite claims that The Bat! fully supports Unicode - it doesn't.

If you try to add someone to address book who's name is not in English it will appear in ?????? or in some gibberish symbols.

It is still using code pages and not Unicode. It's 2009 people. Why do I have to change my Windows codepage just for one program?

Oh and if you switch language to non-English all the interface in the Address book will change to rubbish.

Egor, sorry to tell you that your last sentence is absolutely wrong : try for instance French as language and you'll see that everything is OK in the Address Book.

This is what happens when I double click on a name.

yes, address Book allows only "current locale" input now, this requires rewriting code of addressbook.

Let i bring back this topic.
Address book still use extend ascii table, shall we expect unicode?
